The lure of
that which is meaningless
to my larger concerns
is that there could be
relief
available for the
weight:
a jack to lift
what’s crushing me
off my chest
So therefore bring on
the dumbest TV and
the loudest three chords
you’ve got
as now and then
the Big Dumb Noise
is all there is
to ease the pain
of complexity
ambiguity
and the solid leaden
grays
that seem to be
my ruling principles
my heavy core
