There is a diamond
and in the diamond is a wild cloud
and in the wild cloud is a man walking
and I am that man.
There is a man walking a wild path
and his vivid head contains a trail
and it is marked so a walker must stay on it
and I am that man.
There is a fading of signs for the trail
and the path is lost as quickly as the diamond fades
and a man can see that the diamond is just old broken glass,
and I am that man.
There is a bed where the man was sleeping
and he feels the glass cutting in
and he cannot feel anything left of vivid trail, of wild cloud;
and I am that man.
There was a cloud, a trail, a diamond;
there was a loss to his memory;
there is a room full of just crumbs of him;
I am that man.
