    Shaving is so passe…

…I say you use a laser. It’s all the rage.

Just don’t stare directly into it.

shave it. as a woman, i shave a crapload of my body. and you don’t. and that’s not cool man. plus, i don’t really like facial hair. I have two friends who look awesome with beards, but besides that….. yeah. Not into it.

but you should do what you want. but i’m always up for change. which is why i am addicted to dying and highlighting my hair. <---sicko.

Not necessarily true – an old beard is much fuller than a new beard of the same length because some hairs grow slower than others.

Makes a big difference for me. For Tony? Probably not so much, since his beard is much fuller than mine.

Another thing too – I had a professor at the beginning of last year who was in his 40s with nice true red hair, and he was terrified of shaving it off for fear it would grow in much grayer.

    don’t shave it off.

you might just like being clean shaven
& then what will you do?

i am of the “hey! it grows back!” mindset

why not? ya know? if you are curious, go for it, and then you can always grow it back.

    It grows back.

Unless you’re in the beard club for men, just shave it and see how it goes.

Plus it’s fun in a pain in the butt sort of way.

I shave my goatee off about twice a year. It doesn’t take very long to grow back, and I find that it’s a useful reminder about who I am under all that hair. It makes me look younger, it makes me look and feel more innocent for a while, and it reconnects me with my earlier self in photos before I had the beard. For a while it removes boundaries — and you can always grow it back if you don’t like the face underneath the beard.

I agree that’s up to you.
    Never seen you without it.

But just a thought: if you don’t like it, it will grow back, right?
I am guessing you wouldn’t have any trouble growing it back quickly.

Only if it is what *you* want to do.

But, if you do decide to shave it, don’t leave the mustache, take it all off.

wait, that doesn’t sound quite right…
