smelled like Bar B Que to me. I think that’s why the parade didn’t start for an hour after schedule, freezing my damn toes. He needed time to wipe the goo off his face. Maybe he’d hoped all of us not clued into the fur coat dress code would just get cold and go home, but our passion kept us warm.

I was just reading up on what is happening with protesters today. The answer is, not much. Apparently they have been completely blocked from any area where their voices may be affectively heard and (according to MSNBC)are not allowed to carry placards.
However, at the “Black Tie and Boots” Ball last night demonstrators did heckle some the guests as they entered. Some demonstrators carried signs. My favorite (quoted on MSNBC online) was this: “People are dying, enjoy your champagne”

inauguration haiku.
Luscious scent of all
Humans suffering: Four more
Glorious damn years.
(Nothing is more inspiring than thoughts of oppression.)

“People are dying, enjoy your champagne”
I was just reading up on what is happening with protesters today. The answer is, not much. Apparently they have been completely blocked from any area where their voices may be affectively heard and (according to MSNBC)are not allowed to carry placards.
However, at the “Black Tie and Boots” Ball last night demonstrators did heckle some the guests as they entered. Some demonstrators carried signs. My favorite (quoted on MSNBC online) was this: “People are dying, enjoy your champagne”
