there’s a great kids’ book called Breakfast at the Liberty Diner, that makes great use of some of these – at one point the little boy in the book asks for some “wrecked cackles” before he even knows what they are. totally cute story about FDR.

I haven’t been to the flats in ages. Might have to make it a mission, if there’s no reading/slam while I’m there.
Robert Jr. Lockwood rocks. Love that twelve-string vibe…gotta get back into my twelve one of these days. It needs restringing, and I’ve been shirking the task.
