I’ve been reading through the livejournals of my friends just now, as a break from a Spreadsheet From Hell, and I have come to the definite conclusion that I am lucky to know you all.
Too much talent/caring/compassion/humor/righteous anger to be adequately described.
Honestly? I am humbled by you all.
Thanks for having been here.

Ditto. Just overly sensitive, I guess. Sorry to take it wrong.
Thanks, regardless.

I thought I was responding to it in that way…? I’m at work, so I”m a bit rushed. Perhaps it came out sounding differently?

Re: “humbled”
Oh my god. That play at the Trinity. That was really something wasn’t it? I remember being freaked by the sight of those guys coming out in the hoods [worn, of course, to convey historical accuracy for the play, if I recall correctly]. Man, that was something else.
On another note > spreadsheet from hell, eh? we need to talk sometime about work training. I just got sent on my very first away from home weeklong training thing over here. it was crazy. if that’s what you have to go through constantly with your job, traveling and workshoppping, I think I’d rather futz about with a copier some more. I need to get into video game design, that’s what I need to do. Or movie reviews.

“humbled”
Tony,
I really hope that I may counted as among that number you’ve described. And may I say, you yourself, sir, are and always have
been a pleasure to know. I sniffed the cool on you way back when
Jay introduced us when I was but a pipsqueak workin’ at the packy at Lynch’s in H.S. Remember?

Yeah — there was some Jameson’s floatin’ around last year too. I got to swig with Suzanne Vega.
Great house, and quite the gorgeous part of the state, eh? I hope to be going out there again this year…haven’t heard back from Laura yet.

Callicoon was pretty great – good gig in the library for librbary-like folk. & no Boing Boom Boom oh Shit! moments, interested audience, long & fun q&a session. it was good =)
soooo much relaxing – Laura & Jack took super good care of us & fed us good food till we couldn’t move (well, Dawn did have a wild romp with the kids in the chickenpoop – Scott & i were muc enteretained)! what a beautiful house – & we heard peepers! &
BurgerBarnBrougibahn [i’m sure i’m spelling that wrong] was a blast. & Corri taught me how to catch a chicken! (not taht iactually made good on that, but Corri put one in my arms later – soft!) some music later, trading songs wit Jack & this guy Doug who writes some cookin’ songs on, of all things, an accordian. & there was whiskey too!poems & drunken inna chickenpoop – all in all good.

I am not sure if I am among those who you have praised…but I just want to say that no matter who you had in mind when you posted this comment it is something that I think people don’t say to each other enough…and it’s always nice to hear.
Many cool points for you!
