A Short History Of The Patriarchy

"I’m going to sing
while drawing and dancing,

and

I’m gonna kiss anyone I like,

and I’m gonna kick anyone I don’t,

and
then I’m gonna sing and dance and draw
some more, all
at the same time."

Said the four year old,
so we folded her up
and made her small so she
never did a thing she said she would,

ever.  There’s
a good little girl,

we said.
